Regina, the capital city of Saskatchewan is a wonderful place to visit! | The new RCMP Heritage Centre offers a compelling, entertaining and educational experience that enthralls visitors of all ages and backgrounds. Guests gain a better understanding of both the distinguished history and the wide range of activities carried out by one of the world's great police forces. The Centre features the RCMP's role in the settlement and development of Western Canada as well as its important role throughout the country and internationally.

| Home of the RCMP - Canada's only training centre for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is located in Regina. The R.C.M.P. chose Regina as a temporary site for its headquarters while Regina was the capital of the North West Territories and chose to stay. The academy will train approximately 1000 cadets during the 2004 calendar year. World-renowned architect Arthur Erikson has recently been chose to design a $30 million RCMP Heritage Centre on a 14-acre site at the 120-year-old academy.
